General information only
RoomRoll Calculator is an informational planning tool intended to help visitors estimate wallpaper quantities for a room. The calculator uses measurements and assumptions entered by the visitor. It does not inspect the physical room, verify the selected wallpaper product or independently confirm the measurements. All results should be treated as rough estimates rather than professional advice, a quote or a guarantee.
Not a substitute for professional measurement
Wallpaper installation can depend on wall geometry, pattern repeat, matching type, trimming, wall condition, installer technique, roll dimensions, product defects and other factors. A simple rectangular-room formula cannot account for every situation. Complex spaces, staircases, sloped ceilings, alcoves, chimney breasts, mural panels and large repeating designs may need a detailed cutting plan. Consult a qualified installer or supplier where accuracy is important.
Product specifications and coverage
Nominal roll area is not necessarily usable coverage. Manufacturers may use different roll sizes, package units and installation instructions. The product label and supplier guidance should be treated as the primary source for product-specific requirements. We do not guarantee that a generic allowance will be sufficient for a particular wallpaper design.
Doors, windows and waste
The optional door allowance subtracts a rough fixed area for one or two standard doors. It does not measure actual openings or account for the position of windows. Subtracting openings may underestimate material needs because strips must still be cut around them and offcuts may not be reusable. Waste allowances are illustrative planning scenarios, not universal recommendations.
Material cost estimates
The optional cost estimate multiplies the price entered by the visitor by the estimated number of rolls. The site does not retrieve live prices, confirm availability or verify the currency. The estimate excludes installation labour, paste, tools, preparation, delivery, tax, duties and other expenses unless the visitor adds them separately to a personal budget. Confirm the seller's unit price and package quantity before ordering.
No professional or financial relationship
Content on this website is not a professional installation service, engineering assessment or guarantee of suitability for a particular building. Any example calculation is illustrative. The visitor remains responsible for checking measurements and obtaining the appropriate advice for their project.
External links and third-party products
The site may refer to external resources, suppliers, brands or services. Those references are provided for general information and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement. We do not control third-party websites, their accuracy, product quality, prices, terms or privacy practices. Verify information with the provider before acting on it.
Advertising disclosure
If advertising is enabled, the website may earn revenue from advertisements served by third-party advertising providers. An advertisement does not imply that the publisher has tested, approved or guarantees the advertised product or service. Advertisers may have their own privacy practices and terms. The publisher should disclose any additional sponsorship or affiliate relationship in accordance with applicable requirements.
Accuracy and changes
We aim to keep the tool and supporting content useful, but errors or omissions may occur and information may become outdated. We may correct, update or remove content without notice. Users should confirm important information with the manufacturer, supplier or installer before making a purchase.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its estimates are provided without a guarantee of accuracy, completeness or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. The publisher should obtain legal advice if a more specific disclaimer is needed for its jurisdiction or business model.
Contact
Questions or corrections can be sent to Info.pkto@gmail.com. Replace any remaining publisher placeholders with accurate details before publishing.
DIY safety and wall condition
This website does not assess whether a room or wall is safe or suitable for decorating. Wallpaper preparation can involve ladders, cutting tools, adhesives, sanding and other activities that require care. Follow product safety labels and local guidance, use suitable protective equipment and seek qualified help when necessary. If you suspect damp, mould, loose plaster, lead-containing paint or another building hazard, do not assume that wallpaper will solve the underlying issue. Obtain appropriate professional advice before proceeding.
Currency and regional differences
The calculator allows visitors to choose a currency symbol for display, but it does not perform a currency conversion or verify local prices. A symbol such as a dollar sign may represent more than one currency, and product packaging conventions vary by country. Confirm the price unit, tax treatment, roll size and package quantity with the actual seller. Do not use the displayed cost as a supplier quote or as evidence of current market pricing.
Availability of the website
The publisher may update the calculator, content or design. A website can occasionally be unavailable because of hosting, network, maintenance or third-party service issues. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at every time or on every device. Visitors should retain their own measurements and product information rather than relying on the site as the only record of a project.
How to report a possible error
If you believe a calculation or explanation is incorrect, please provide the page name, the inputs used and the result you expected. Send feedback to Info.pkto@gmail.com. Avoid sending sensitive personal information. Reports can help identify issues, but the publisher may need time to review them and cannot guarantee a particular response or correction timeframe.
Use your own judgment
Information on this site is provided to help visitors ask better questions and plan their next step. It should not replace checking product labels, reviewing installation instructions, comparing supplier information or getting professional advice where needed. The visitor is responsible for deciding whether the information is appropriate for their circumstances and for verifying important details before purchasing materials.
Accessibility and browser differences
The site is designed to be responsive, but display and behaviour may vary by browser, device, assistive technology or network conditions. If a field or result does not appear as expected, check the input values and try a current browser. Report persistent problems using the Contact page. A temporary technical issue should not be treated as evidence that a measurement or material estimate is correct.
Personal responsibility for final decisions
Visitors should retain their own records of room measurements, product names, roll dimensions, batch numbers and supplier advice. The calculator may be changed or unavailable, and an estimate may not reflect every detail of a room. Before committing to a purchase, compare the estimate with the manufacturer's instructions and the installer’s proposed cutting plan. The final purchasing decision belongs to the visitor.
Not a product warranty
Nothing on this website creates a warranty for wallpaper, adhesive, installation work or a supplier's product. Product warranties, returns and installation guarantees are determined by the relevant manufacturer, seller or installer under their own terms and applicable law. Review those terms directly and keep receipts and labels. The calculator cannot confirm that a particular wallpaper is appropriate for a damp room, high-traffic area or specialist environment.
Updates to this disclaimer
This disclaimer may be revised as the site, calculator or commercial model changes. Visitors should review the current version when using the website for a new project. If a future service adds professional advice, product recommendations or affiliate relationships, the publisher should update the relevant disclosures before offering that service.
